Fulfilling academic potential
Established in 1977 as a small tutorial college, today Bosworth is a leading independent boarding school in the UK. Our excellent academic results, established university links and caring and supportive ethos have resulted in an enviable reputation. Teaching at all levels is characterised by enthusiasm and passion and we pride ourselves on being a non-selective school with a proven record, both locally and overseas, for raising students’ aspirations.
Bosworth has over 300 students with each one looking forward to fulfilling their individual academic potential. With a diverse nationality mix each year, Bosworth students regularly find themselves working alongside classmates of different cultural, social and religious backgrounds – a perfect environment for curious minds. They then leave school as well-rounded individuals with an excellent opportunity to succeed in the wider world. Bosworth can offer the breadth of knowledge and experience required for students to excel.
Providing academic programmes for ages 11-19, Bosworth ensures a customised timetable is in place for each and every student. There are very few restrictions on subject combinations at GCSE and A-level and, with average class sizes of eight each student gets the individual attention they require to reach their academic potential. As the school builds on its successful past, it looks forward to the future educating British, European and international students within its culture of achievement.

Independent Schools Association (ISA)
In 2015 we joined the Independent Schools Association, so our inspections now come under the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI) instead of Ofsted. Members of the ISA value innovation and inspiration, building on the best traditions to promote integrity, high standards, industry and responsibility. International admission and application process
You can either apply online to enrol on a course or you can send back an application form to us by email or post.

Entry requirements and availability check
Upon receiving your international school application, we review your most recent academic qualifications and English language level and cross-reference this with the entry requirements for the course you have selected. Please note if you do not have an IELTS or equivalent English Certificate we can arrange for you to take our internal English test. We will then check that there are places available on your desired course and we will contact you.

Visit the School or Skype interview
We welcome potential international school students and their parents/guardians/agents to visit the School. The Admissions team can book you an appointment with the Headmaster or Deputy Headmaster, where you will receive a full tour of the School. Ideally, we like to meet with you face-to-face to discuss what we can offer and to find out more about what you are looking for. Alternatively, we are happy to arrange a Skype Interview instead to discuss your application further.
