Day School

The West Sussex Local Authority control Year 7 admissions into the school according to their Admissions Policy.  The school has a designated catchment area for the Year 7 intake from two localities – Chanctonbury Schools (Partridge Green, Henfield, Ashurst, Steyning and Upper Beeding) and STARS Schools (Amberley, Ashington, Storrington, Thakeham, Washington and West Chiltington).

Steyning Grammar School Catchment Area

We welcome children from outside the catchment area to fill any remaining Year 7 places.  This can be done through the normal school selection procedures for Year 7.

Our published admission number (PAN) in Year 7 is 210 on our Towers site and 180 for our Rock Road site in Storrington.  From Year 9, our intake includes an additional 15 boarders for which separate admission arrangements apply.
