Justeen is a legal entrepreneur. What’s that? – I hear you ask. It’s simple, really – she is a lawyer with a passion for reinventing how people like you use the law to resolve disputes with minimal assistance from lawyers.
Justeen has a strong interest in social justice, particularly every person’s right to access affordable legal services. Justeen applies her legal and business skills to promote equal access to public funding, such as legal aid, and services that facilitate access to affordable legal services and self-representation, particularly in the areas that affect the average person – such as criminal, succession and family law. Justeen has developed a soon to be released software product that facilitates self-representation in family disputes, known as ‘Smooth Separation’. Justeen regularly provides pro bono legal services, including via the Law Society of NSW Scheme.
When she is not being a legal entrepreneur, Justeen is acting for commercial clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, professional services, retail, entertainment and insurance. With over 23 years of experience, she is often described as one of the leading legal strategists in Commercial and Tax Disputes.
Justeen has a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Politics and Economic History from QUT; Bachelor of Laws with Hons by award from QUT; and is a graduate of the International Directors Course with the AICD. She was admitted as a solicitor in NSW in 1998.
