Here at the Arenui, we have built a stunning wooden vessel that offers a taste of the local culture (a traditional Indonesian Phinisi) but fitted it with all the modern conveniences of a luxury hotel. We designed spacious boutique cabins that once again invite our guests to enjoy the country they’re visiting (local handicrafts and inspirations).
We added a luxury restaurant serving international and local cuisine (evenings are waiter served a-la carte) and added both an outdoor sky restaurant and a top-deck sky lounge for massages, sunbathing, relaxing and enjoying the island views.
Then we trained up an enthusiastic local crew, including two highly sought-after chefs and four eagle-eyed dive guides and four western cruise directors. With a total of 24 team members, our 16 guests are guaranteed a truly personalized service.
Next we chose to focus on diving the stunning Indonesian archipelago, a true remote paradise, packed with 5-star dive sites to match our 5-star liveaboard and crew.
Indonesia offers everything from healthy coral reefs to sandy critter hide-outs, with so much to see that one trip is never enough. Dive Komodo for incredible diversity from frogfish and nudibranchs to schooling jacks and mola-mola (oceanic sunfish).
Travel to the untouched reefs of Alor and Flores, before heading into the Banda Sea to dive the wonders of Maluku (and visit the famous Spice Islands) but don’t forget to make time for Raja Ampat and its world-famous gorgonian sea fans, enigmatic wobbegong sharks and manta rays.

In keeping with our “boutique” philosophy, we have applied the same attention to details when designing our food service. From the setting to the decor and choice of dishes, we aim to offer you a dining experience unlike any other liveaboard experience.
Our food is plentiful, fresh, and centered on local and flown-in ingredients. Our internationally trained chefs add their own touch of magic, drawing inspiration from local and international cuisine. In addition to mouth-watering buffet spreads, we also offer a-la-carte choices with daily menu changes.

RELAX ON BOARD
Make the most of your non-diving time and indulge yourself! We’ve included a full range of massage and spa treatments on the Arenui with exactly this in mind.
You’ll even have a choice of location to enjoy your luxury treatment; relax in seclusion under the Spa Tent or why not ‘be at one with the elements’ out on the deck where you can listen to the tranquil sounds of the sea splashing on the hull.
For those who are looking for simpler pleasures, there are also deck chairs and sun loungers on the sundeck as well as in the outdoor lounge. We recommend taking some time to lie back and soak up some rays, or sip a cocktail, while watching the sun descend below the horizon across the calm waters of the Indonesian archipelago.

BEYOND DIVING
We offer a range of leisure and recreational facilities such as 2 person kayaking, visits to local villages and trekking across the island wilderness.
At the Arenui we aim to provide every comfort necessary to make you feel as at home as possible during your time with us. These amenities include a first-rate library with an excellent collection of books on the local area and marine life, as well as a diverse selection of all those books you’ve always wanted to read but have been saving for your next holiday! To cater to different tastes we have over 100 movies to choose from, to watch in the lounge area or, for those with an individual DVD player, in the privacy of your own cabin.
Given the stunning dive sites and topside landscapes, Indonesia is a photographers’ dream destination. As such, we are pleased to have had many professional photographers onboard. Nowadays, it seems everyone is a budding photographer so we are fully equipped to cater to this aspect of the diving experience.
There are charging stations for all your equipment, extension cords and adaptors to cater to different systems and plenty of table space for using your own laptops.

Here at the Arenui, we aim to provide you with the convenience of a fully equipped dive liveaboard, combined with all the richness, artistic touches and comforts of a 5 star luxury boutique hotel. But unlike a land-based resort, this luxurious floating hotel drops you off directly at the best dive sites that Indonesia has to offer!
The Indonesian archipelago, located within the Coral Triangle, boasts the world’s highest marine biodiversity and offers truly unique diving in a picturesque island setting. This region is truly a dive mecca and high on most diver’s wish-list.
Just like our vessel design and services, the same attention to detail was given to our cruise itineraries, which not only include all the usual popular diving sites in Indonesia but also other world-class destinations which have been overlooked by most recreational diving operators. When it comes to our annual schedule, the Arenui has chosen the best dive sites based on the best times of year to explore these world famous destinations.
To showcase the best of Indonesia, we spend the May to October months mainly around the Komodo National Park area, taking in dive sites and landscapes from Bali right across to Flores and Alor. In November we move towards Ambon in Maluku and the Spice Islands in the Banda Sea, working our way to the Raja Ampat area of Western Papua to continue dive cruises from December through until April.
